How we began 

Moo Moda was started in January 2024. I was trying to find some comfy, loose-fitting trousers but I couldn't find any that were long enough or what I wanted, so I thought I'd make them instead! I sent my designs off to get made and when they arrived I made a video on TikTok, and some people wanted to buy them! Moo Moda was then born.

I had just finished uni and was working a full time job along side Moo Moda. I would work all day at a marketing agency then come home and pack orders and run the business. I would post the orders in my lunch break and my house became a warehouse (my mum was not too happy!). But in August 2024 I started doing Moo Moda full time and it has been the best thing I have ever done! 

Bit about me (the founder)

Hiya! I'm millie and I'm 23. I have always loved fashion and wanted to have my own business and I have to pinch myself everyday that I own a clothing brand. I went to Oxford Brookes and studied Business and Marketing but I'm still learning everyday how to run a business it is very much self taught. 

A massive motivating factor for starting my business was my dad, I lost my dad to cancer when I was 18 and it has not been easy! Ever since I was a kid my dad and I would discuss business ideas that I could make, and if I could tell him now that I run my own business I think he'd be so happy and proud!
